A
Message To Small Business Owners
*See Why Choose CMI for your employee related needs
CMI has been
working exclusively with Small Business Owners since 1989, implementing
hand-on change management to effect positive bottom-line impact,
and to enhance owner "quality of life" issues.
See our "Services
Offered" section for specifics, and also see our Testimonials/References
section to see what your peers who have already benefited from CMI's
services have to say.
See our "How
We Can Work Together" section to help understand how we can
discuss your issues now and begin working to move your company to
the next level.
Before you invest
large dollars in computers, capital expenditures, and people (employees),
make the wise investment and assure that the foundation of your
company is sound, that there is a plan for the future, and that
future investments do actually build on this strong foundation.
Every client
I have worked with has made judgmental errors in prior decisions
involving significant expenditures where value maximization was
never totally (if at all) thought through. Each instance could have
been prevented, and significant dollars saved.
In the same
sense that you would not put an expensive roof on a poorly constructed
house, or one built with no plans, you should not spend your previously
hard earned dollars on state of the arts equipment, technologies,
high-level personnel, and new "buzz ideas" that others
have jumped into, until you are sure that the basics and your company
foundation are right, sound, and able to be built upon. What may
work for others, either because they have built the basics and a
strong foundation, may not work for you, because you may not be
at the same level. You owe yourself a self-checkup and analysis.
Large companies
go through elaborate, detailed authorization processes before they
make any of these expenditures, and because of their bureaucracy,
ironically still make wrong judgements. You owe it to yourself and
your company to make educated decisions, every time. Unlike larger
companies, one major mistake may cause severe hardship to the small
business owner.
Often these
decisions happen because the owners have no legitimate "confidant"
who they can discuss ideas with. They are often forced to operate
in a vacuum, with little in-house help, and people unfamiliar with
their day-to day operations such as CPAs and Bankers as their only
help.
Small business
owners need someone who has been there before (many times) to help
build a successful company. Why not learn from others' mistakes,
and profit from their successes? Contact
CMI now!
